*L-Theanine. This natural amino acid L-Theanine is commonly found in Green Tea and is clinically proven to promote relaxation; reduce stress & anxiety in pets, and improve learning ability.
It has been determined that L-Theanine is a derivative of Glutamic Acid which is one of the neurotransmitters found in the brain.
It has been determined that dopamine concentrations in the brain increased significantly after the administration of L-Theanine. Dopamine, one of the brain's primary neurotransmitters, is said to affect emotions, such as feelings of relaxation and happiness.
L-Theanine also increases the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA levels in the brain which leads to a feeling of well-being.
